Respite Care Funding

Respite care provides temporary relief for primary caregivers, allowing them to take a break while ensuring their loved ones receive quality care. The following programs offer financial support for respite services:

Assistance for Children with Severe Disabilities (ACSD)

 For low- to moderate-income families caring for a child under 18 with a severe disability.

Attendant Care & Independent Living Funding

These programs provide funding for personal support services that help individuals with physical disabilities live independently in their own homes.

Direct Funding Program (Centre for Independent Living in Toronto - CILT)

 Enables adults with physical disabilities to hire and manage their own attendant services.
